From: "Roger Penrose" 4 Jan 2003 Dear Predrag, It is very good to hear from you. It is most exciting to hear about you new "birdtrack" book. Yes, I should certainly like to see it, or whatever part of it that you can spare. My own trouble, at the moment, is that I am trying to complete my own book (a monster of some 1000 pages), and this allows me very little time for other more sensible activities. My book is in an intensive editorial stage now (where all sorts of frightful details have to be sorted out without too many errors, I hope---not to mention some 450 diagrams, most of which I draw myself). At the very least, I need to see your book so that I can refer to it! But I would really like to see what you have done. There will be some bird-tracks (or fornicating ostriches, as one of my colleagues prefers to call them) in my book too, but a lot of other things too. With very best regards, Roger ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Predrag Cvitanovic" Dec 12, 2002 > Subject: your squiggles/Predrag's birdtracks > > Dear Roger > > > > my book on strand colorings (or what did you call them when you were > > working on on your thesis, and drew them first?) is ready enough to send > > to Princeton U reviewers, so questions is - do you want it? how much of > > it?
